If you're lucky, there might be a cookie or two sitting in the office when you come pick up your vehicle. If they're gone, you can make them at home (recipe below.) Be sure to come back often for more of Sue's great recipes.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup Crisco Butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cup (12oz pkg) Toll House Semi-Sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional, but Sue never uses them!)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Beat the butter, both sugars and vanilla in a large mixing bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time and beat them into the mix. Add the flour mixture, then stir in the morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto an UNgreased baking sheet.
Bake for 9 - 11 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; move wire racks to cool completely.
